On Mondays I would like to share what we’ll be cooking for dinner this week and the cost breakdown. I say “we’ll” because many of you know that my husband is a much better cook than I am. My goal is to provide dinner for my family (2 adults and one toddler eating) for under $5 except on special occasions. We don’t have to eat beans and rice to accomplish this goal! Each meal will be for 4-6 servings so there will be 3-4 leftover servings for lunches or to freeze for another week. I haven’t listed the prices for spices and such because it’s impossible to tell how much was used.
