My goal is to provide dinner for my family (2 adults and one toddler eating) for an average of $5 except on special occasions. We don’t have to eat beans and rice to accomplish this goal! Each main dish cooked will be for 4-6 servings so there will be leftover servings for lunches, dinners on the weekend, or to freeze for another week.

WOW cricket! That’s impressive that you break it down like that! I do love good deals! I have another friend in Ft. Worth who is REALLY into the Walgreens/CVS deal finding too. . . he has a blog and frequently posts stuff that’s free or moneymakers. I find it too difficult to do all that with Elise, but it’s certainly cool how you can save so much money!
