Ever get tired of unloading your silverware from the dishwasher? It seems to take forever because you have to pull each piece and note what it is before putting it in the appropriate divider in your drawer. Back in college I decided to designate one bin for salad forks, one for soup spoons, one for knives, and so on. It takes no extra time to load, but I can unload by simply taking all the spoons from the one section and putting them straight into the drawer- no sorting required. Super easy!
You told me this years ago (I don’t even think I had a dishwasher then!). I think about your tip every time I unload my dishwasher.
