Here’s my plan for Walgreens this week:
I’ll buy 2 Sunday papers for $3 each, a .99 birthday card, and Dial Body Wash for 3.99.
Total = 10.98 I’ll also buy one posterboard for .19. This is what is called a filler item. I need this because I want to use a $10 RR and my total after the coupon for the body wash would be 9.98 without it and the RR would beep. (computer wouldn’t accept it) New total = 11.17I’ll use my $10 RR from last week and this $1/1 coupon on the body wash for a total OOP of .17. I’ll also receive back a $3 RR for the body wash.
My personal opinion is that the deals at Walgreens are getting more sparse each week. Now that I have CVS close by I am shopping at Walgreens less and less. They are preparing to roll out a new rewards program that mimics the CVS system. I can’t wait!!!
