Well, our church changed service times and we started an hour and half earlier this morning. Consequently I did not have all my Walgreens coupons together when we left, but was afraid to wait until after church to get the papers because it was P & G day. So, we stopped by on the way to church and I did 3 quick transactions and went back after church for 2 more.
I do want to give a shout out to the really great cashier that I met this morning. Thanks for being so patient with me, Andrea, all 3 times I came through your checkout!
I found a coupon for the domino sugar (thanks Passion for Savings)and I had to totally rework my scenarios since I already had an equal amount of coupons and items.
Here are my transactions:
1) dallas morning news @ 3, Breathe Right @ 4 = $7
used 1.50/1 breathe right and my $2 RR = $3.50
2) colgate @ 2.99, dallas morning news @ 3 = 5.99
used 1/1 colgate and $4 RR = .99
3) carmex @ 2, breathe right @ 4 = 6
used 1/50/1 breathe right and $2 RR from colgate = 2.50
4) softsoap BW (I found one that smells SO good!) & Irish Spring BW @ 7, Easy Mac Cup @ .59 = 7.59
used 1/1 softsoap, in ad Q for Easy Mac, 4RR and 2RR from last transaction = .59
5)domino sugar @ 1.99, carmex @ 2, colgate @ 2.99 = 6.98
used .30/1 domino sugar, 1/1 colgate, and 5RR = .68
I still have the (2) RR from transaction 5. Total OOP this morning was 8.26 and I have $2 extra in RR than when I started. Remember, my 2 newspapers and sugar would have cost me 8.04 at Walmart, so I’m pleased, even with such a high OOP. Total Retail price: $41.50
