Admission: You may have wondered why my grocery deals always got posted on Thursdays. Well, our mail man frequently doesn’t deliver the ads until Wednesday and our mail doesn’t come until between 3 and 5. I came in from getting the mail last night ranting to my dear hubby about why in the world they couldn’t just deliver the ads on Tuesday like they’re supposed to. It’s been the same rant for the last 3 months, he of course knows to just agree with me and not get involved in my argument :-). Only just this afternoon did it dawn on me that I should take a look at the ads online just like I do for Walgreens and CVS! Sorry that it took me so long to figure that one out. Hopefully I’ll have my matchups ready on Wednesdays from now on.
I’ve already done waaaaay too much grocery shopping this week, so I’m glad there isn’t too much on the list that I’ll buy next week. I think I’ll still be over budget for the month though since it’s a 5 Saturday month.
