I’m sure you’ve heard about UPromise before, but did you know that anyone can have an account? You can designate the money you earn to go to anyone you want. My mother has an account and her funds are set up to go to my son for his college. It’s also my understanding that the $ can be used for anything, not just for education!
There are many ways to save with UPromise, but here are my favorites:
- link your grocery and drugstore cards to UPromise to receive $ in your account for purchasing UPromise product.
- Register your McDonald’s gift cards to receive $ in your UPromise account every time you reload it.
- print coupons from UPromise to receive that coupon amount back into your UPromise account
- receive $ in your UPromise account for online purchases through the UPromise site
- receive $ in your UPromise account for eating at select restaurants
This is one of those rewards programs that you could put very little effort into it (just register your store cards and GCs) and still reap benefits. That’s what makes it a win-win for busy moms. Be sure to register your parents too so your kids can benefit from the grocery and drugstore shopping of everyone in the family!
My favorite way to save is with my Exxon Mobil card, when I gas up, a small percentage goes to the college fund on top of already getting back .15 cents per gallon.
