Target Clearance, Baby Food and Cream Soups

I just got home from Target a little while ago.  I found quite a few toys already reduced by 30%.  I was very tempted to buy a little cooking set for Turkey- I even had it in the cart for a while, but I came to my senses (seeing as he already has 3 cooking sets- one of which is real) and put it back.  There were also numerous Christmas items on clearance.  All trees seemed to be 20% off and other clearanced items ranged from 15% – 30% off.

The holiday Air Wick candles were on clearance for $2.54.  Now that the registers have been fixed to give the entire coupon value, even if the purchase price is less I was wishing that I hadn’t already used my 2 Qs.  Maybe some of you can cash in on this $.45 moneymaker by using the $3/1 candle Q from 11/14 SS.  There is also a $2/1 Q in the 12/12 SS.  These would be a good addition to a teacher gift.

I also bought Gerber baby foods and Cream of Chicken Soup.  11 of the Gerber foods were on sale for $.80 each, the diced carrots were at regular price $.89 and the Cream of Chicken soups were on sale for $.60.

Price before sales and Qs = $16.53.
I used 1- Target Q for $2/$10 Gerber
1- Manu catalina for $.75/3 Gerber
1- Target Q for $.75/3 Campbell’s
1- Manu Q for $.40/4 Campbell’s
and $.10 reusable bag credit.
Total after sales and Qs = $8.98 a savings of 46%.
