If you haven’t made it over to Target lately, I would plan a trip soon. The store in Tyler has been at 75% off on all Christmas items for a couple of days. There were several things left in large quantities that I’m hoping to be able to pick up when they hit 90% off. (probably late this coming week)
Also January always means great toy clearance at Target. My store has toys anywhere from 15% off to 75% off. I picked up several things for 2 and 3 yr old birthday gifts for the coming year. I’m hoping to pick up some baby gifts at 50% off or better. It’s pretty easy to find items on clearance that would work for younger kids. I have a harder time finding gifts for the older kids on my shopping list, but can usually find something they will like. I expect toys to be on clearance the entire month, but each store will change prices on their own schedule, so keep a close eye on it.
Be sure to scan items you are interested in that aren’t placed in the correct spot. Often a UPC will be given a price reduction and all items marked, but one will be returned and not get the correct price sticker, or simply be misplaced all along. I’ve gotten many a great deal because I price checked!
