I spent the afternoon today out doing the week’s drugstore and grocery shopping. It was nice to move at a relaxed pace and shop childless!
A couple of things you’ll want to watch for:
- My Walgreens stores had the NasoDrip with Pink Peelies on them (Troup and 323 had them at the register and above the energy/diet bars along the wall) making this a $1 moneymaker!
- Also, I had forgotten about the new Spring edition of Diabetes and You Magazine. It has another $1/1 Colgate Q in it good until May. Ask at the pharmacy counter if you don’t see them out somewhere.
- The two stores I went to were almost out of Motrin PM, which looks to be the only one included in the sale.
- Looks like the supply of pencils/giftsacks/sugar wafer candy for cheap fillers is almost out. Let us know if you find any great clearances that will help us out.
All totaled I spend $.36 OOP for just under $50 of merchandise. I’ve gotten everything I wanted, but still have 4 $6/2 Motrin PM Qs, so hopefully I can find it after the trucks come and they restock later in the week.
