My goal is to provide dinner for my family for an average of $5 except on special occasions. We don’t have to eat beans and rice to accomplish this goal! We typically only cook a main dish 4 or 5 times a week. Each main dish cooked will serve 4-6, and the leftovers will be for easy dinners on the weekend, or to freeze for another week. This cuts down on cleaning, cooking, and meal planning- saving us lots of time!

Wow! Impressive! I am somewhat envious of your ability to feed your family on so little. Right now, I have 2 15yo boys in the house, and I think they each eat at least $5 worth of food at each meal! LOL! Your menu sounds delicious.
Have a blessed day.
thank you ladies! My 3 yr old and I have a fairly plain palette but I try to put in some new things for my hubby whose mother is an extraordinary cook. I remember the days of feeding teenagers too T Jones, and yes they will eat you out of house and home. I hope you’re a stockpiler to help offset the cost!
Ow wow your menus are inspiring and they look SOOOOO fun!
