I thought you couldn’t buy the same thing with back to back transactions and still get rr’s for that product? Like in transaction 1 and 2 with the motrin? Did you already try this scenario? You did very well though with the savings and rr’s, its the best I have seen so far:)
In reply to the first comment here:
I KNOW that my local walgreens will NOT honor these duplicate RR for same deal (like motrin, as you mentioned.) However, since I live in a suburban area and am couponing at several grocery stores also during my day of “running”, I think this could still be pulled off by hitting different walgreens stores as I drive around from grocer to grocer…. ? Just a thought, as, like you said, this is a GREAT bunch of scenarios…
THANKS!
Ladies, I recommend that you print the Walgreens Coupon Policy found here: http://www.walgreens.com/topic/help/generalhelp/coupon_policy_main.jsp?_requestid=37856 Carry it with you to the store. This scenario doesn’t use a Motrin RR to pay for a Motrin. I took both Motrin RRs and used them to pay for transaction 3 in which there was no Motrin purchased.
There is no reason stated in the policy for a store to limit your ability to purchase more than 1 or 2 Motrins unless you are taking the last on the shelves. It would be a worth a call to corporate regarding any such stores that do limit you without just reason. In my experience such a call has been enlightening for store managers and has completely changed the way they handle themselves with couponers. After all- one bad apple in the Walgreens chain is bad business for them all.
FYI, I do no more than 2 transactions per store per visit. Right now on my table I have items from 3 stores, in 4 visits and 5 transactions.
My bad, I just read it wrong about using the mortin rr for another. sorry:( My walgreen’s is pretty good about letting me do more than one transaction but it is not that busy in the cosmetic section. That is usually my register of choice:)
no worries- I have been known to make mistakes, especially when writing scenarios with two little ones vying for my attention
