Often times I need to pick up an item that there isn’t a current coupon for. Buy now? Wait and hope for a coupon? This becomes the debate. It helps to know if there is a coupon being released soon and to find out you can check the Sunday Coupon Preview.
The Red Plum Qs are usually added to the site on Monday or Tuesday, and the SmartSource Qs are usually added on Wednesday or Thursday. What a helpful tool! I’ve added a button for them on my sidebar to make it easy for you to check for Qs. They also have a schedule for which inserts you can expect each Sunday (so you know when to not bother with the newsstand) I’ll try to remember to post a weekly reminder to check each week.

So should you wait for a coupon? It all depends on your resolve. We often save money just by reducing our consumption and usage. You may just find that after a couple of weeks of doing without or substituting, that you can make do with one less product. Or you may realize just how important it is to you. Either way if the price isn’t right, I’d wait for a better one since the results of waiting can make a huge impact on a frugal budget!
