This is a “green bag tag” for CVS. They cost $.99, but are well worth the purchase. Next week you can get two free after ECBs, so you may be wondering what in the world a green bag tag is. To encourage us to be “green” CVS will give you a $1 ECB for every 4th time your card is scanned. It can be scanned once per day when you use any bag besides a new plastic bag from CVS. You can even carry your items out in your hand. No joke. Don’t believe me- let CVS tell you! Consider it an extra quarter in your pocket every time you scan it.
I used to think these were individual tags that were attached to specific ExtraCare Cards. But I did some snooping looking and realized they all have the same bar code #. So buy 2 next week and get them free after ECBs. I keep mine in my CVS pouch with my ECBs. I’ll be picking two up myself -one to stay in each of our vehicles just in case I make a quick trip without my Qs!
If you shop at least once a
week, it’s an extra $1 a month, if you shop 2x a week it’s $2 a month
etc. Almost as sweet as swagbucks, not quite, but almost!
