Inbox Pays vs. Inbox Dollars

Several weeks back I posted about InboxPays and asked if anyone had any experience with them, but I didn’t get any responses.  The reviews I found online told me they were a legitimate company and I felt it would be worth a shot.   I know many of you are already signed up with InboxDollars, and the two companies are fairly similar, so here’s what I’ve seen so far:

At first glance it looks like you’ll make more with InboxDollars, but the stats show that if you don’t do any of the offers in the paid to read e-mails or buy anything through the shopping sections on the sites, you will earn about the same each week, but with less effort for InboxPays.  InboxDollars pays less per e-mail and often requires 2 or 3 clicks to actually “confirm” the e-mail.  Granted the payment threshold is higher with InboxPays, but if I had to choose between the two I’d rather take InboxPays that requires less work on my part.

With InboxDollars you get 10% of what your referrals earn from completing offers, surveys etc. (no e-mails).  So if they earn a dollar, you’ll get a dime. With InboxPays, you get a one time 30% referral bonus after your referral earns $10 in completed offers and surveys etc. (you get $3 and again not from e-mails) Unless you have a lot of people that will join under you and plan on doing a lot of shopping (probably because they haven’t heard of Ebates which pays much better) you won’t see much from either referral program.  I have 3 referrals for InboxDollars and have seen less than $.40 in 2 and a half years.  Yes that’s cents.

One feature that is unique to InboxPays is the spin wheel.  You get two
bonus spins for signing up, and then earn one spin for every offer you
complete.  It’s like a bonus wheel- you can win extra money in your
account.

So far the offers have been similar.  Usually the only 2 offers I do are
the Entertainment book before Christmas that pays me $8 back (and is a
better deal than anywhere else) and free business cards from Vistaprint
that pays me back $5. (shipping was $5.67)   I’m hoping that both
companies will run the $8 Entertainment book special before Christmas
this year so I can get 2 books and get rewarded through both companies,
pushing me closer to the payment threshold.

The sign up bonus for both companies is $5.

  1. Thanks for the visit and now following you back. I see that you are in Tyler, not too far from us (Royse City). Looking forward to reading more and I’m sure I will take you up on the offer to answer questions!

  2. Hi, yes I have InboxPays ad I like the company, I just click on their link and I get paid , I think its 5 cents . When I reached $50.00 I got a call then they told me that it would be in my account in 30 from that and it was in there on the day InboxPays said. Good luck

  3. I wish I had a positive experience with inboxpays but sadly no. After having reached and earned 47.50 of the 50 dollar payout threshold they abruptly took 25 dollars out of my account and created another account which basically wasted the time I spent viewing the emails, doing the surveys and taking advantage of the offers. No warning was given, they just took the money out. Inbox dollars on the other hand is not only better than Inbox pays but is probably one of the best period. They have NEVER changed the rules right at cashout time.

  4. The mail credits are almost not paid out at all. They dont use up 25$ of them in the 50 they pay out. They cash out all the cash first then credit a small amount ot the mail credits. So per their own statements my next 25$ in mail credits are not available for the next payment. This is fraudulent. They did pay the first $50 but most of it was cash not the mail credits. I am very unhappy with them. Also my account history of the first 50$ disappears after they accept it for payment so you dont get to moniter how they chose to pay it out.
