Walgreens Scenario with no starting RRs and only printable Qs

Update 4/10 @ 10:20 pm.  Printable Qs have set limits for how many times they can be printed.  Looks like these are almost gone.  If you see a printable you want to use, be sure to not wait to print it or you may miss out!

Here’s a scenario for Walgreens this week if you are starting with no RRs and have no coupons from newspapers.   I recommend that you check out at the cosmetics counter.

Transaction 1

Walgreens will only allow you to use one manufacturer Q (including RRs)
for each item you purchase.  In Transaction 3 since I used the $1.50
manu Q, I needed to add 2 pencils ($.25 total-and good for Easter baskets) to
be able to use the RRs from Transaction 1 and 2.  The RR system is set
up so that only 1 RR will print for each specific deal in a transaction, this is
why I split the Carefree into 2 transactions.  If I had paid for the 2nd
Carefree with the 1st Carefree RR, the 2nd RR also wouldn’t have
printed.  Confused?  It is a bit of a system to figure out, but once you
get used to it, you’ll be saving tons of money.  I am here to help if you need it!
