Went to 2 different CVS in Cypress/Houston today to run this scenario, neither CVS even carried the PH Wipes or Nescafe 7cts and neither had the Crest on sale for $1.99.
Note: Not that they had them and sold out.. they flat out didn’t stock them. No place on the shelves for them. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement..
I certainly would be frustrated too SirDigby. Ads can vary, just like coupons, by region. I do my matchups from the ad preview that is available, an then try to check it with my local ad preview once that is released. I don’t always remember, but I try. I pulled up the weekly ad for a store in Houston at zip 77002. It shows the both Preparation H free after ECB and the Crest for 1.99. I didn’t find the Nescafe in your ad, so that explains that one. Did the Crest scan at the pricechecker for regular price instead of 1.99? Some stores don’t get their signage up on time, some not at all, but prices are still valid. On the Preparation H, I would call over to the store and ask about it. Sometimes they just haven’t found a place on the shelf for new items or they end up in a weird place on an endcap(I don’t know if this is new or not, just a possibility of what happened) I’m sorry that you couldn’t find everything you wanted. Be sure to ask for a raincheck though, as CVS will still issue the ECBs for an item that you have a raincheck for. Many managers will also initial coupons that you planned to use if they’re close to expiration. Hope you have better luck next time.
