I don’t post deals for Walmart too often. Mostly because they Walmart’s prices are the most average, so there isn’t much need for special sales. What this means for me is that I can usually save more money by waiting for a sale at another store and then using my coupons. I would say that I spend about $75 a month at Walmart. Most of these items are GV brand, meats, or produce- ie. items that don’t have a Q. There are times when it pays to use a coupon at Walmart, both literally and figuratively.
- Sometimes you can get a larger product size at Walmart.
- Sometimes you can’t find an item in stock at the store running a sale on it, so you can price match it at Walmart
- If the item is priced below the value of the Q, you will get overage to help with your other purchases.
Even though your family may not use an item, you can pick up items that will be free or may even give you overage and put them in your donation box. When there’s a donation drive your bank account won’t have to take a hit.
So last night I stopped into Walmart on Troup Highway to check out the local prices on quite a few deals I’ve seen all over the blogs. I was thrilled to see the GV 4 pk 6 oz. yogurts for just $1! Little One is going through yogurt like it’s going out of style. Since we have no double Qs in Tyler, I haven’t been able to find a better price for the 6 oz cups so I just buy the GV 4 pks for $1.50. I’ll be going back tomorrow to buy more after they restock the shelves, and hopefully they will still be on sale for $1. You never know with Walmart though!
