The household budget for our family is $500 a month and includes all groceries, household products, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers. A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family. Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your family.
This week I did very little shopping and still didn’t manage to make any headway on things here at home. At least I spent very little $$.
Spending:
Brookshire’s: spent $11.83, saved $12.07
CVS: spent $0.64, saved $40.76
Walgreens spent $.25, saved $8.71
Walmart spent: $8.22, saved $.77
Total Spent $20.94, Total Saved: $62.31

Money saved this week: $61.54 This means $79.88 of DH’s salary saved (click here to see how I get this amount)
