The $.05 credit for each reusable bag you use is back at Super 1 Foods. You may have to ask for it, as I almost always used a reusable bag but only even found out about the credit the week before they canceled it in early April. Not only is it good for your budget, and good for the environment, but it is much easier to carry 2 or 3 good reusable bags into the house with groceries than 12-15 partially full plastic bags. A money saver and a time saver, that’s my kind of deal!

I’m surprised, every time I’ve asked, they acted like they were never going to do it again. I even quit bringing my bags in – it wasn’t worth the trouble. I’m glad they are doing it again, a little incentive always helps me go green.
That’s funny anon! The cash incentive is just a great bonus in my opinion. If I’m going to have more than 1 plastic bag I’d much rather have just 1 sturdy bag that I can put over my shoulder while I jostle the baby/and or little Turkey in and out of the car!
