New Update Target Coupon Policy on BOGO Qs

This post may contain affiliate links.

Target has updated it’s coupon policy and I’ll go ahead and put myself out there and say that I am happy to see these changes.

Target’s updated policy states that they will not allow the use of a manu BOGO Q in combination with a manu $$ off Q.  They are also clearing the waters that you cannot purchase 2 products and expect to use 2 BOGO Qs to get them both free (were people really trying that???)  While many stores allow you to use a BOGO Q in combination with a $$ off Q when you are
buying 2 eligible products, please remember that stores have the right to
set their own policies, including not accepting coupons.   Target is making their policy clear so there won’t be any misunderstandings at the register.  I appreciate having things in writing. Be sure to print off a copy of the new policy for your coupon clutch or binder.

Also to be noted is that the ad match policy has disappeared from their website.  I don’t shop enough at Target to know if they have discontinued this policy or not.

Many BOGO Qs are beginning to attach to both items instead of just to the free one, so I think we’ll be seeing fewer and fewer BOGOs that can be combined with $ offs, even if stores will allow it.

Thanks to The Coupon Centsation for alerting me to the new policy.
