If you missed them, here are the CVS matchups for 7/24 – 7/30.

**I did have 2 IS deos here but realized that although the sale price is
2/$7, the ECB deal requires you to buy 3, so they would have cost $.50
for 3 and not be free. Here are the Qs I had for them though in case
you’re interested: $1/1 IS deo from 7/24 SS and $1/1 IS deo from CVS
receipt
*or use one of these: $3/1 Bengay from 5/22, 6/19 or 7/31 RP or this $3 Bengay printable, but you’ll pay $2 OOP unless you move the Crest to T2.

  1. Great savings! Look forward to checking out more of your posts! Thanks for stopping by from the Monday Blog Hop. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  2. My CVS doesn’t let me have no OOP, they won’t adjust my ECB down and always say I have to pay at least the tax. Is there a policy on this or is it up to the individual stores? Thanks for the scenarios! Oh, and where is the BOGO schick coupon found? Thanks

  3. Thanks for following Rondi!

  4. Hi Lucinda,
The BOGO is in the 6/26 SS (updating when I finish this reply) You might call corporate and ask about the policy about reducing an ECB. I’ve never had a problem doing this and have only heard of isolated instances of people having problems with this. On the tax issue, I never include tax because tax %s change by state, county, and city and on what products you are buying. Here in TX we don’t have tax on foods, and our tax is figured on the balance you owe after all Qs, so if I am able to get my subtotal down to less than 20 cents I won’t pay any tax. At CVS I frequently pay $0.00. We are spoiled, I know. Now, when I shop at the CVS where my parents live they are taxed on the merchandise total regardless of Qs. There I will figure out my merchandise total, how much tax I will owe, and how much I’ll pay for with manu Qs. Let’s say I have $20 in merchandise, so my tax will be around $1.80. I’m going to use $8 in manu Qs, so I want to use $12 in ECBs. I’ll actually pay about $13 in ECBs FIRST. Then I’ll use my $8 in manu Qs next, and I’ll be left with a total of around $.80. It can be done to pay next to nothing, but it requires much more math and exact math because you don’t want to waste ECBs and not be able to use your manu Qs because you add wrong. HTH. (I really need to write a post about this!) If I’ve managed to confuse you more please use the contact tab on the drop down menu to e-mail me.

  5. Thank you for the explanation! It didn’t confuse me and is very helpful. I’ll try corporate and see what I can find out. Thanks~

  6. This is great shopping!!

  7. Wow thats a great haul!!!

  8. These are great scenarios. I was upset I let my Schick hydro expire, but I had not even thought about the bogo. and yes we are spoiled in TX. I’m just like you, I almost refuse to shop when I visit my parents because I dont want to have to pay the taxes ;).
