We’re having a virtual progressive dinner sort of recipe hop!

If you aren’t familiar with it, a progressive dinner is a dinner party where each successive course is prepared and eaten at the home of a different host. It’s a fun way to share dinner with friends.  Because each person is only responsible for one course of the meal it can be very frugal.  Plus, it’s a great way to pick up new recipes, tips, and ideas.

I’ve gotten together with a group of fantastic women bloggers to host a virtual progressive dinner sort of recipe hop. Hopefully, you will find it not only fun, but you’ll find some wonderful new blogs to follow and pick up some new recipes and tips. Each blogger has contributed a recipe to share with you for a different part of your day.  I’ve included today’s Italian themed menu below. I hope you’ll enjoy this weekly event. Feel free to leave your hostess feedback on what sort of meals or dishes you’d like to see as we plan for our next progressive dinner.

We’ll start today’s progressive recipe hop with a breakfast recipe.  Head on over to Dearly Domestic to learn how to make Pat’s Breakfast Casserole. Then she’ll give you the link to the next portion of the meal.
So what portion of the meal do I have?  I’m sharing a recipe for tiramisu.  To be honest I’ve never made an Italian dessert before.  We tend to eat chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate at our house.  Just about every dessert I make includes chocolate :-)  I have always heard how wonderful Tiramisu is though, so I guess now is as good a time to try it as any.  It sounds delish!

Now for the last part of our Frugal Friday Recipe Hop, head on back to Deals for Ms. Do’s for a minty drink to quench those tastebuds after all these delicious foods!  I hope you’ll come back and join us again next Friday.

If you missed them earlier, here are the links to the other recipes:
