I frequently have readers ask if I know of any blogs in their area of the country. I also like local blogs because it’s great to have a local resource for deals and sale prices, as well as tips for the physical stores you shop at. I’m going to try to highlight a few blogs across the country each weekend to help my readers find local frugal blogs. Even if they aren’t local, you may find one that you really like!
Here are 4 blogs that are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Kingdom First Mom is a frugal living blog. Her site covers similar topics as mine (frugal living and coupons), but she also hosts a fabulous linky every Sunday for $5 drugstore scenarios. I link up here every weekend!
Saving Myself Silly is a deals blog. She will show you where the deals around on the internet as well as around town. She lists the top stores to get your produce and meats at each week. She has just started a daily series on couponing basics, so now would be a great time to check out this site if you are still new to couponing.
Yankee Texan Mom is a mommy/deals blog. She has a great mix of bargains and life stories to share with you. I usually get a chuckle from her posts. This lady has lived in 3 drastically different regions of the US as well as abroad, so she has a unique perspective on life that you might find refreshing.
I also came across another DFW blog just this morning. 7 on a Shoestring is a frugal living blog about a family of 7 trying to make ends meet on, you guessed it, a shoestring budget. Her motto is Living Blessed On Less. I’m looking forward to poking around her site more over the coming months.
