Savings Review 7/2

The household budget for our family is $500 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers.
A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family.
Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your
family.

Brookshire’s spent $13.86, saved $7.90
Office Depot spent $.54, saved $14.95

Before I started blogging I would earn about $10 a week for a couple hours of time with these programs. Here are the monthly totals for the online programs that I use most often for rewards:

Inbox Dollars: $1.15
Inbox Pays: no time
Ipsos-Isay: no time
MyPoints: no time
RewardPort: no time
Swagbucks: $21.25
Zoombucks: $1.09
Total Money Made: $40.79
Money saved this week: $33.91 + $40.79 = $74.70 This means $95.77 of DH’s salary saved (click here to see how I get this amount)

If you’ve been following my progress trackers on the right side bar you know that we’re getting close to paying off our van loan.  Hopefully I can get with the bank this week to get the payoff amount and be done with it!  I’m excited to return to only having mortgages (even if it is 2 of them) for debt.

Comments

  1. Thank you for stopping by!

  2. How exciting to be so close to the Van pay off. Getting those payoff figures is always a highlight.
