Savings Review 7/9

The household budget for our family is $500 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers.
A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family.
Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your
family.

You may have noticed that I haven’t shopped at Walgreens or CVS in a couple of weeks.  It’s been a nice hiatus, but I will be getting out this afternoon to see if there is anything left and will probably shop next week too.  Perhaps you’ll see a picture of what I scored next week on my review.

Spending:
Cut my husband’s and Turkey’s hair myself: spent $0.00 saved $24.00**
a friend shopped for me $2.00, saved $0

Super1Foods: spent $29.81, saved $5.37
Walmart spent: 3.89, saved $1.00
Total Spent $35.70, Total Saved: $30.37
**this was a couple of weeks ago, but I keep forgetting to put it on here

Money Made

Before I started blogging I would earn about $10 a week for a couple hours of time with these programs. Here are the monthly totals for the online programs that I use most often for rewards:

Inbox Dollars: updated monthly

Inbox Pays:  updated monthly
Ipsos-Isay: updated monthly
MyPoints:  updated monthly
RewardPort:  updated monthly
Swagbucks: updated monthly
Zoombucks: updated monthly
Total Money Made: $0.00
Money saved this week: $30.37 + $0 = $30.37. This means $38.94 of DH’s salary saved (click here to see how I get this amount)
