If you missed them, here are the CVS matchups for 8/14 – 8/20.
For the 3rd week in a row, my opinion is that the deals at CVS just aren’t very good. (the next week isn’t look much better) I will probably only get the diapers again and call it good. (hubby doesn’t like the G2s) Regardless of what I’m buying, here is a little scenario to roll your $5 ECB from last week.
Update: a reader commented this morning that the CVS printable for the Huggies states not combinable with any other Q. I printed it off, and sure enough-we’re out of luck on this one. Sorry folks. I’ve updated the scenario.
Transaction 1
G2 Drinks $5
use $5 ECB from last week
pay $0.00, get $5 ECB
by now you should probably have earned a $1 ECB from your Green Bag Tag. If you don’t have a GBT yet, get one this week!
Transaction 2
1 Revlon Nail @ 4.99
3 Trident Layers @ 2.97
3 M and Ms singles @ $1.50
4 Bic Pens pks @ 2 (some areas the sale is on Papermate)
subtotal: $11.46
use $2/3 Trident from 7/24 SS
use $1.25/3 M and Ms from 7/10 RP
use (2) $1/2 Bic from 7/31
use $5 ECB
use $1 ECB from Green Bag Tag
new total: $.21, get $3 ECB

I contacted our CVS and they will let you use the CVS Huggies coupon with a Man coupon….
thank you for the update Marla, but I think I’m going to pass on the deal. Ethically I can’t use a coupon that says “not combinable with any other coupon” and try to combine it. That CVS store won’t be reiumbursed for that $2 store Q and that means loss of profits for them. We all know stores need profits to stay open.
O I understand, I just called before I read your post and she said that it was nto to be used with another store coupon and could be combined with a man coupon so thought I would share
