Savings Review 8/6

The household budget for our family is $500 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers.
A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family.
Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your
family.

Money Made

Bank interest: $11.05

Before I started blogging I would earn about $10 a week for a couple hours of time with these programs. Here are the monthly totals for the online programs that I use most often for rewards:

Inbox Dollars: $1.89
Inbox Pays:  $1.25

Ipsos Survey Panel: still no time
MyPoints:  $.59 (I didn’t open more than 2/3 of the e-mails)
Swagbucks: $30.56

RewardPort:  still no time (averages about $1.75 a month)
Zoombucks: still no time (averages about $3 a month)
Total Money Made: $45.34
No time seems to be a theme with me. :-)  As I continue to get my 3 inboxes streamlined I hope to incorporate 5 mins daily to do my paid to read e-mails and surveys again.

Money saved this week: $151.91 + $45.34 = $197.25 This means $252.88 of DH’s salary saved (click here to see how I get this amount)
