Walgreens Scenario 8/14 $50.71 for $1.45 OOP, + Earn $6 Extra in RRs!

Walgreens Rules in a Nutshell: 
You may only do each deal once per transaction.
You cannot use the RR from one deal to pay for the same deal if you want to get another RR.
You may not use more manu Qs (including RRs) than the number of items in your transaction. 
A RR cannot pay tax and it’s value will not be reduced.

Last week we ended our scenario with a $4 RR and a $2 RR.

**if you have (2) $1/1 Reach instead of the $2.50/2 you can either pay the difference, resulting in $2.45 OOP (still a great deal) or follow the scenario below.

    Hi! I was wondering about the Revlon Walgreens coupon in the 7/24 SS…is that a coupon like the ones in the walgreens booklet…meaning that you keep the coupon after it is scanned to use again. Or do you need to have two of them if you want to use it again. Thanks! And thanks for your deal scenerios…they are full of great ideas!

    To be honest Anon, I’m not sure how they’ll be treating the Wags Revlon Q. Even though they aren’t sent in for redemption, some cashiers will want to keep it. If you’re wanting to do the deal twice I would just ask your cashier if they need to keep the coupon or if it will just be thrown away.

    I live in a test market area-I love how you write up your scenarios, but I can’t use the Walgreens ones. Would you be willing to do test market scenarios (you can use 64081 for an add zip).

    Hi Nicole,
    I don’t have any understanding of how the points system works. Because I’m not using it I wouldn’t be qualified to do up scenarios because I don’t know or understand all the rules. Have you visited Penny Pinchin’ Mom? She posts test market matchups and scenarios. If Tyler goes to the test market rest assured I’ll be all over those scenarios then :-)
