Walgreens Scenario 8/28 for 92% Savings

Walgreens Rules in a Nutshell:
You may only do each deal once per transaction.
You cannot use the RR from one deal to pay for the same deal if you want to get another RR.
You may not use more manu Qs (including RRs) than the number of items in your transaction.
A RR cannot pay tax and it’s value will not be reduced.

For a more in depth explanation of these rules, you can read my post “How to Roll With Walgreens

My walgreens here in Spring TX will not give out RR when you pay with any RRs. Is that the general rule for walgreens? Your scenarios show paying with RRs, and still getting them on each transaction, so I’m wondering how you do this.

  2. Hi Anon,
The only thing that should prevent the register from giving you a RR is paying with a RR from the same deal. Meaning if you bought the carmex tomorrow and then paid with a carmex RR it wouldn’t prompt the new RR. If you buy the Carmex and pay with a Colgate RR (buying some other items too of course) the register will still prompt your Carmex RR. That being said about how the registers are programmed -If your cashiers are confiscating your RRs that print, then they are committing fraud and theft and should be reported to Walgreens Corporate. I certainly hope that isn’t the case, although I have heard of it happening.
