CVS Scenario 9/11 $43.40 for $4.68 OOP. Gain $7.79 in ECBs!

Last week our scenario ended with a single $1 ECB from Hersheys. and I’ll bet that by now you also have a $1 ECB from using your Green Bag Tag.

new total: $4.20, get $10 ECB

*If you have the white Extra Care Card like we do, because CVS is your insurance’s pharmacy provider, you may want to throw in an extra $.20 or so worth of merchandise because of the 15 or 20% discount on CVS brand products.
new total: $.48 (or less if you have the white card), get $6.79, 3.69, and 1 ECBs

2 Dawn Hand Renewal @ 1.98

use $.75/1 Softsoap printable
use $2/3 Trident from 7/31 SS

    Tell me more about the white EC card please. I have one as well but haven’t used it. Do you give them that card instead? Do you have to register it? What about the extra % off, is that based on an amount spent?

  2. LP, the white ECB card came with our prescription plan for my husband’s work. When we got it, I had to call and combine my red card with the white card’s account. (had to use all my ECBs first though) You can only have on account per household. I don’t remember if it’s 15 or 20%, but it’s only on CVS brand- I think even just healthcare products. LOL, I don’t usually have a reason to buy generic because I get name brand for pennies so I’m not entirely sure. I’ll be sure to report back on this thread when I buy my allergy meds this week and let you know.
