The household budget for our family is $400 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers. A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family. Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your family.


Walgreens and CVS
spent $5.50 (mostly because of the M and Ms), saved $78.07

Spending: 

A friend shopped for me $3.00, saved $3.00
Best Buy: spent $9.99, saved $15.00

CVS: spent $0.00 saved $14.34
Super1Foods: spent $11.40, saved $13.04
Walgreens spent: $5.50, saved $63.73
Walmart spent: $54.57, saved $50.52

Total Spent $74.47, Total Saved: $159.63

Bank Interest: $13.72

Before I started blogging I would earn about $10 a week for a couple hours of time with these programs. Here are the monthly totals for the online programs that I use most often for rewards:

Total Money Made: $59.21
