Savings Review 10/8

The household budget for our family is $400 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers. A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family. Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your family.

We went on vacation this week so that helped to keep my spending in check.  I only found one outfit to buy at the outlet malls, which while disappointing definitely kept my spending down.  We had a great time away, but after 8 nights away from home we were ready to sleep in our own beds!
