Walgreens Scenario 10/30 $23.65 for $2.79 OOP

Walgreens Rules in a Nutshell

You may only do each deal once per transaction.
You cannot use the RR from one deal to pay for the same deal if you want to get another RR.
You may not use more manu Qs (including RRs) than the number of items in your transaction. 
A RR cannot pay tax and it’s value will not be reduced.

I’m not happy with my scenarios this week.  The prices just don’t line up to start with a single $2 RR and get much with little OOP.  You can see my scenario to get $21.34 at sale prices for $1.49 OOP here.

1 Hunts Sauce @ .79
subtotal: $6.29
use $.75/1 Ricola from 10/16 SS
use (2) $1/1 Colgate from 10/30 SS (some of you will only have $.50/1)
use in ad Q for Hunts (takes off $.45)
use $2 RR from last week
new total: $1.09, get $2 RR and $2 RR


Transaction 2
2 Crest Pro-Health 4 – 4.1 oz TP @ 7
2 Hunts Sauce @ 1.58
subtotal: $8.58
use (2) $1/1 from 10/30 PG, 10/16 PG, or 10/2 PG (expires 10/31)
use in ad Q for Hunts (takes off $.91)
use both $2 RRs from T1
new total: $1.67, get $5 RR


Transaction 3
1 Ricola Dual Action @ 2
2 Colgate MaxFresh @ 3.50
1 Hershey’s 10.23 – 12.5 oz Fun size Candy @ 2.49 *
1 Old Dominion Brittle @ .79
subtotal: $8.78
use $.75/1 Ricola from 10/16 SS
use (2) $1/1 Colgate from 10/30 SS (some of you will only have a $.50/1)
use $1/1 Hershey’s printable or $1/1 Hershey’s printable*
use $5 RR from T1
new total: $.03, get $2 RR, $2 RR, and $.50 RR 
*or buy Mars candy instead and an extra Dawn with Q.  Use this $1.50/1 Mars Q
and pay $.02 OOP instead. The candy is only producing a RR through Monday.

Totals: $23.65 at sale prices for $2.79 OOP, a savings of 88%.
