I had thought that I’d be able to do my own matchups for CVS and Walgreens again this year, but I’ve come to realize that it’s just not going to happen. I don’t want to leave you hanging, because there are long lists of freebies, moneymakers and cheap deals for each store. So, here are links to the deals over at We Use Coupons. They’ll keep you posted on any news you need to know regarding the sales.
I would like to remind you that the drug stores are more like convenience stores than mega stores, so they aren’t going to have 1,000 tubes of toothpaste in the back to satisfy all the customers. They also only have a few registers and will have lots of shoppers. I’d recommend that you limit your purchases to 1 or 2 of each deal and only do 2 transactions per shopping trip. This will keep everyone happy, most of all yourself. You don’t want to spend 2 hours in Walgreens trying to roll 25 deals and keep your OOP under $1. Also remember to keep your items for each transaction separate in your cart by using a blue basket for on transaction. And here’s a refresher on the Walgreens “rules” in case you need it.

Good luck getting the deals you want and keeping it stress free! I’m excited to be shopping with my Mom this year!
