Free Menu Planning Service Based on Local Grocery Store Ads

I have raved for months about the weekly menu plans that Pary Moppins writes for Brookshire’s stores.  Now there is a free service called Food on the Table available for
people to tailor menu plan around their own stores, since not everyone has a fabulous Pary Moppins menu plan at their disposal :-)

You select your preferred grocery store and the meats your family likes to eat.  Then the program will provide you with menu ideas and a printable shopping list from the sale ad! The best part is that it’s free!  Just be sure it’s not causing you to eat items that are more expensive than usual.  We all know that just because something is on sale doesn’t mean it’s a good price 😉

  1. Thank you! I’ve been checking out this site and I really like it. It is going to make meal planning and stocking the freezer easier for me based on the weekly sales.

  2. Glad to hear it Boo!

  3. Just got an email. This is NOT free! $70 a year or $10 a month. I’ll go back to making my own menus based on the HEB sales flyer. :(

  4. The free version allows you to plan 3 meals each week using the site. The e-mail is trying to get you to buy into their premium version, but it’s unneccesary since you can simply delete your 3 meals after you’ve printed them and then plan your next 3 meals.

Please let me know if that doesn’t make sense, sometimes I can talk myself around in circles LOL.

  5. That makes sense and is pretty smart. Why didn’t I think of that? LOL
