Julie of Pary Moppins and I will be teaching a FREE class on couponing in Marshall, TX next Saturday, February 25th.  The class will begin at 10 am and run about 2 and a half hours.  It will be held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 501 Indian Springs Road in Marshall. We’ll cover:

  • where to get coupons and how to use them
  • how to organize coupons
  • coupon stacking
  • how to get items for free
  • how to get overage
  • couponing at local grocery stores
  • couponing at CVS
  • couponing at Walgreens
  • couponing at Target and Walmart
  • couponing for free
  • couponing for charity
  • using coupons to build up a stockpile

We will also take a few minutes to recap and answer questions regarding topics that we covered in January’s budgeting/couponing/frugal living class.

Childcare is provided, but we need to have a childcare RSVP by Wednesday the 22nd!

Click here to RSVP for the Feb. 25th Marshall class so we will know how many copies and chairs to have available. We had a great turnout last month and hope to see many familiar faces as well as new ones!

  1. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by couponing. I’m going to come to this class and see what I can glean.

If you guys see the need for another body in the kids room, let me know…I’ll commandeer my 16 yr old.

  2. Hi Becky,
We don’t want you to be overwhelmed. Hopefully we can inspire you and help you figure out how to make it work for you without being overwhelming.

Thanks for the offer for childcare, but I believe that the church has hired some ladies to watch the kids based on how many RSVP for childcare.

  3. Ruth Ann Alston says:

AWESOME! Free coupon class and free child care?? I am telling everyone I know about your class. I live 3 hours away and won’t be able to attend(boo hoo!) but I will be sharing with everyone I know. Did I already say how AWESOME you are?

  4. Thanks, Ruth Ann! I can’t take credit for this though, Ms. Pary Moppins has made all the arrangements.
