Basic Couponing and Frugal Living Class in Tyler Feb. 7, 2012

We have a class coming up next week.  It will be free of charge, but donations to cover copies and our time are gladly accepted.  Julie of Pary Moppins and KK of Practically Virtuous will be teaching with me.

We’ll cover basic couponing with some tips for frugal living, tips for budgeting and paying down debt, and a list of budget busters and how to avoid them.  If you’ve got friends who are interested in learning how to coupon, this would be a great class to give them some practical tips for getting started. Bring them along, and you’ll probably learn a few new things too- I always do!

Tuesday, February 7th
6:30 pm -8:30ish
Green Acres Baptist Church (the specific room will be sent to you in an e-mail)
1607 Troup Highway
Tyler, TX 75701

If you have been couponing for longer than 6 months and are
interested in advanced classes
, please e-mail me with what store you
want to learn more about and whether you are closest to Longview,
Marshall, or Tyler.

If you’d like me to speak at a local meeting or event, you can contact me here with the details.

I have details on a class in Palestine that is by ticket fee
only and will be Feb. 16th. If you’re interested in that class, e-mail me and I’ll put you in
contact with the lady who is teaching it.

There is a free beginning couponing class in Whitehouse on Monday, Feb. 20th taught by my friend Pamela.  You can RSVP for that class here.

  1. I live in Fort Worth and I have friends & family in Denton & Arlington. We don’t mind trekking to Tyler, but we really need a Saturday class! Maybe you know of a class closer to us? I can’t seem to find one! Thanks! Love your posts!

  3. Hi Darian,
We’ll be doing an all day class in Marshall in either April or May. That’s about 45 mins further than Tyler. I have had multiple people ask about classes in the DFW area, but I don’t know of anyone that teaches public classes there. If I were to arrange for one, I’d need to charge a ticket fee because of my distance to drive. I’ll do some research on it in the next couple of weeks and see if I can make something happen. If I get a class organized you’ll see a post on it for sure!
