I had some Register Rewards expiring today so I made a quick trip into Walgreens to buy the Right Guard for $.25 each and the 12 pk Cokes for $1.67 each. I just thought it would be a quick trip- I found the front of the store covered with these carts of 75% off toys! I’ll post the details of my transactions tomorrow or Thursday
I bought these items and used all the RRs that I earned from the Right Guard and Coke. The only things I’m not sure about keeping are the Sega games. I may end up taking them back tomorrow- we’ll see. There were tons of make up play sets, foam puzzle blocks, books, games, action figures, coloring sets and more. There were 2 of the big cardboard play houses that the kids can color themselves for $5, but one sold right ahead of me. I also noticed some Broadway nail kits for $1.50. That SAVE $1.00 off Kiss® & Broadway Nails® Artificial Nail Products, offer excludes glue & nail files is still available to make them just $.50 each. There were Goody hair bands for $.50 also. I think there were 7 carts total- and one is that huge blue dolly!
This was the Troup and the Loop store for those of you in Tyler. The manager came by when I was taking my picture and I told him that I had to share this sale. He said “please tell everyone you know- I just got finished marking this all down and I’d like it gone by tomorrow”. I smiled sweetly and replied that I would have his store covered up tomorrow. 😉
Reader RuthAnn who is in the Leesville, Louisiana area, also wrote me tonight about some Walgreens clearance deals. She says:
“On clearance they have a bunch of wall calendars and pocket calendars. In the wall calendar batch is a batch of calendars that actually have WAGS coupons in them! It’s put out by MEAD but it says Walgreen’s Exclusive Coupon Calendar. You can get different pictures (cats, lighthouses, beaches etc) but there are anywhere from 3-6 coupons each month in this calendar. The calendar is on clearance for 2.00 but these are WAGS coupons and can be stacked w/mfg coupons so we should be able to get some great deals! I can shoot you a picture of the one I bought if you are interested. There are coupons from g, scotch, scotch brite, post it, command and others. At least in the one I bought, there may be other brands in the other ones.ALSO, on clearance is right guard 5 deoderants for 2.26 with the b1g1, coupons and RR deal you actually make money on this one.“
