Pack a Picnic Lunch to Eat at Work With Daddy (or Mommy)

A few weeks ago I packed up this lunch to take up to my husband’s office for a picnic. Little One’s school hadn’t let out for summer yet so it was just us and Little Turkey.  It was a special mealtime and really helped to break up our long day at home.  The only extra cost was the gas to get up to the office, and the extra half hour that my hubby took off to eat/visit with us.  It was well worth having him stay late that day just to see him and spend the extra time with him.  Turkey’s behavior was better that afternoon too!

If you don’t live near your spouse’s work, perhaps you could plan to visit a local tourist attraction or do some shopping close to the office.  Just be sure to let your spouse know you’re coming 😉
