July 22, 2012 Best School Supply Prices

I’ve completed the school supply prices for this week.  I’ve added highlights to some of the prices to indicate those are the regular prices for this season.  We all know sometimes stores will run a “sale” just to get people in the door :-)

Each item has it’s own row to compare prices between stores, or you can look at prices for a specific store by just looking at one column.  The first column shows the price I think you should be able to find the item at for this season.  If you find something barely over that price I’d say go ahead and buy it to save yourself the time and hassle later over just a few pennies.

My tips for shopping the sales and cutting expenses on school supplies can be found here.

Here’s what you’re looking for:  CS8H-SUMYD7-9MBS  but be careful – I switched the first and last sections :-)  Please comment if you are the first to find and deposit it! claimed

Hi Penny! Would you mind if we used your list at our Coupon Club today? We’re all kind of new to couponing so we cover one topic each week & this week we are discussing school supplies. Also, it would be awesome if we could get that actual spreadsheet from you so we could add our local stores prices. I want to make sure I understand your notes on the spreadsheet – for example, the first item – Crayola colored pencils shows $.88 – is $.88 the targeted price or is that an advertised price somewhere this week? Thanks a bunch!!!

  2. Hi Angie- it’s been such a busy day and I didn’t read your comment closely enough to read that your meeting was today. I hope that you did print off the price list and used it. Info found here is always available for personal use. The price listed in the first column is the price I think you should be able to find the item for during the season, but it’s worth buying it for a few cents more to save yourself from too many trips. Did you find my household/grocery price list too? It’s got the lowest Walmart prices noted so you can see if a “sale” is really a sale :-)

  3. I found the code! Thanks!

  4. I found the code! Thank you! This will pair nicely with my Swagbucks $5 gift card =)
