Basic Couponing Class in Tyler January 31st

This post may contain affiliate links.

My next basic couponing class in Tyler will be from 6-8:15 pm on Thursday night, January 31st.

If
you’re just getting started with coupons or would like a refresher on
coupons this would be a great class to attend and to bring a friend to. We should have time for questions at the end if there is something I didn’t cover.
Topics I’ll cover include:

* where to get coupons and how to use them
* how to organize coupons
* coupon stacking
* how to get items for free
* using a price list
* how to get overage
* overview of couponing at local grocery stores
* overview of couponing at local dollar stores
* overview of couponing at CVS and Walgreens
* overview of couponing at Target and Walmart
* couponing for charity
* shopping strategies
* using coupons to build up a realistic stockpile
* basic menu planning

There is no childcare for this class, so please make other arrangements for your children.

The charge for this class is $5 per person.  Tickets are available through Eventbrite.  If there are any unsold tickets I will accept walk ins at the door.  We’ll be supporting Beth’s Pantry, a single’s pantry at Green Acres, with the profits from every attendee’s ticket. Feel free to bring any non perishable food items for toiletry items from your stockpile that you’d like to donate and I will pass them along.

In the past my local classes have always been free of charge as a ministry to the community.  These classes do take time to organize and money for copies and materials.  The past 2 classes I’ve had to turn people away because the RSVPs had reached the capacity of the room, but less than half of the people have shown up.  I’m hoping that a small ticket fee will reduce waste in materials and time, and will encourage everyone to be sure to check their calendars before committing to the class.
