My local Brookshire’s (both Gilmer and Gladewater) allow you to use coupons for free items. And the amount actually subtracts from your total!! This makes for a ton of savings on bundle deals! This week they have Huggies box diapers which retail at nearly every store for $19.99 as a bundle. By the Huggies diapers get Lysol Wipes (24-35 ct), Happy Baby or Happy Tot Organic Food (3.5-4.22 oz), Happy Puffs Baby Snacks (2.1 oz), Huggies Baby Wipes (56+ ct), and Johnson’s baby products (6.5-18 oz) free!

That’s a great deal for you, but unfortunately the Brookshire’s coupon policy says we can’t use a coupon on a product that’s free. It’s one of those things where if they really wanted to prohibit it their registers should be programmed to beep on those Qs, but they aren’t. Some cashiers will watch for them and won’t scan them since that’s the policy. I wish I could get this deal and wish I could promote it to everyone, but I can’t
