We put on our socks and shoes in pairs because that’s the way it’s always been done. Of course it would be incredibly uncomfortable to put on only one sock and one shoe, but that’s not the point. The point is that pairs are good.
When you’re making lunches for the kids and/or your hubby in the morning, make one for yourself too. No sense getting everything back out at noon.
When you do a load of laundry, put a 2nd one in to wash while the first one is drying. One less interruption and you’ll be able to put up twice as many clothes at one time.
Next time you cook up a pound of beef for tacos, do two pounds at once and freeze one for an easy meal later.
Pick out two days of clothes at the same time.
Take the trash from both bathrooms out to the garbage can together.
Go to the motor vehicle department one time and renew tags for both vehicles at the same time (if you can’t renew online that is)
Wash both vehicles at the same time.
Vacuum two rooms at once.
Bad things come in threes, so don’t try to do too much at one time.
Any other good pairs you can think of?

I love this! Great advice!
Great ideas! It does make more sense to do things in pairs.
I did 3 loads of laundry this morning. I saved the 1st load to fold with the 2nd and enjoyed watching a show on HGtv at the same time. I had just enough time to check my e-mail before the third load came out. One laundry session, one trip to bedrooms, one nice long break for mom. For me doing one load a day seems like I’m always doing laundry. This way is much nicer.
Great ideas! I’m blog hopping and found yours! Am now following! Would love for you to check out my blog and follow back!!
This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!
