Walgreens Rules in a Nutshell

You may only do each deal once per transaction.

You cannot use the RR from one deal to pay for the same deal if you want to get another RR.

You may not use more manu Qs (including RRs) than the number of items in your transaction.

A RR cannot pay tax and it’s value will not be reduced.

For a more in depth explanation of these rules, you can read my post “How to Roll With Walgreens

Last week’s scenario ended with a $2 RR from Blistex.  This scenario does not use the Azo and Estroven printables.  I have another scenario here that uses the printables for Azo and Estroven if you printed them while they were available.

Transaction 1
2 Speed Stick @ 5
1 Royal Gelatin @ .59
subtotal $5.59
use (2) $1/1 Speed Stick from 10/30 SS
use in ad Q for Royal (takes off $.39)
use $2 RR from last week
new total: $1.20, get $2 RR

Transaction 2
Welch’s Grape Jelly @ 3.49
2 Green Giant Veggies @ 2.58
1 Royal Gelatin @ .59
subtotal: $6.66
use $.75/1 Welch’s printable
use $.50/2 Green Giant
use in ad Q for Welch’s (takes off $1.49)
use in ad Q for Green Giant (takes off $1.20)
use in ad Q for Royal (takes off $.39)
use $2 RR from T1
new total $.33

Totals: $12.25 at sale prices for $1.53 OOP a savings of 88 %. Start with $2 in RRs and end with $0 in RRs.

The Maalox for $1.49 ($4.99 using the $2/1 Nov IVC and the $1.50/1 Maalox printable) is also a really good price if you use it, but I didn’t include it in the scenario.
