$5 Dinners Week of 4/11 Average Cost of $3.35

My goal is to provide dinner for my
family for an average of $5 except on special
occasions. We don’t have to eat beans and rice to
accomplish this goal!
We typically only cook a main dish 4 or 5 times a week. Each
main dish cooked will serve 4-6, and the
leftovers will be for easy dinners on the weekend, or to freeze
for another week. This cuts down on cleaning,
cooking, and meal planning- saving us lots of time!

Last week I asked you guys for some new dinner ideas.  There were several comments with lots of new meals to try and a few new ones to resurrect too :-)  I’m still exploring some of the sites everyone suggested I use too.  My new dinner goal is to incorporate at least one new (or renew) meal from your comments into the mix for the next 10 weeks.   This week we’re going to try the “meaffins” suggested by Super Saving Sisters.
