Ideas for the $3 RR on Travel Sizes at Walgreens

As the week goes on more and more coupons are being found for valid travel size products on the Walgreens deal to get a $3 RR when you buy $10 worth.

$1/1 Pantene from PG Everyday Savings booklet (priced at .99)
$1/1 Secret from PG Everday Savings booklet (priced .99)
$2/1 Secret Clinical from 2/27 PG (expires 3/31) (priced 2.99-3.29)
$2/2 Pantene from VocalPoint mailer (priced at .99)
$1/1 Degree for Men Deodorant from 3/27 RP (priced at .99)
$1/1 Dial Nutriskin Lotion from 3/13 RP (priced at .99)

Because most of these Qs are for a penny over the product price there are a few ways to work this deal.  The easiest (but costliest) is to buy one more of each product than you have Qs.

4 Dial Nutriskin @ 3.96
1 Secret Clinical @2.99
4 Degree for Men @ 3.96
subtotal $10.91
use 3 $1/1 Dial
use 3 $1/1 Degree
use 1 $2/1 Secret Clinical
new total: 2.91, get $3 RR (hopefully you’ll have a $2 RR to use as well.

Depending on how your store adjusts coupons like this:

• If they actually adjust the coupons down, then I would by any combination of 11 $.99 products that you have coupons for, pay 0.00 OOP and get the $3 RR
• If they adjust coupons up, buy 10 assorted items, pay nothing OOP, get $3 RR

subtotal 10.18
use $2/2 Pantene
use (2) $1/1 Dial (adjusted down
