Typically on Mondays I would post my weekly menu plan and homemaking plan. This week I have absolutely no plans, so I thought it would be the perfect time to let you know about some changes coming up and ask for some input for what content you’d like to see in the next year.
I’ve decided to split my blog and host my shopping scenarios for CVS and Walgreens on new sites. There’s a need for expanded scenarios and I don’t want those to encroach on the rest of my blog with it’s focus on the home. That switch will happen over the first couple of months of 2013.
You may have noticed last week that I toyed with a new site format. My intention is to have a landing page where you can quickly see new posts as well as old posts that may be useful at different times. I constantly get e-mails or comments asking about a specific topic that has already been posted about, but the post has gotten lost so to speak.
Those are the planned changes for 2013 in a nutshell. I haven’t yet made up my mind which daily posts will return next year, so I’d appreciate your help in determining what direction I should go with Thrifty Texas Penny. The blog was started to help give me more structure, but is now just as much of a help to others. The survey below should take less than 3 minutes to complete.
