This Week’s Dinners 9/6

My goal is to provide dinner for my family (2 adults and one toddler eating) for an average of $5 except on special occasions. We don’t have to eat beans and rice to accomplish this goal! We typically only cook a main dish 4 or 5 times a week, so each main dish cooked will be for 4-6 servings, and there will be leftover servings for lunches, dinners on the weekend, or to freeze for another week. This cuts down on cleaning, cooking, and meal planning- saving us lots of time!

I apologize, but we are currently out of town and I just don’t have time this week to get my menu plan all typed up with cost breakdowns. I’ll resume that next week. In the meantime, here are the meals that I am planning.

Breaded Shrimp, Baked Potatoes, Broccoli, fresh peaches

Lasagna, salad, french toast

Garlic Seasoned Pork, Pineapple, Green Beans, Cheese Toast

Chicken Nuggets, Sweet Peas, Fresh Corn, Mashed Potatoes

If you wonder how I get food items for free or for next to nothing, follow my blog by facebook, RSS feed, or e-mail to know where to find all the great deals!
