The household budget for our family is $500 a month and includes all groceries, household products, diapers, health and beauty, clothing, gifts, decorations and newspapers. A little on the lean side? Perhaps, but it works for our family. Whether your number is $300 or $1000, you should do what works for your family. Walgreens and CVS spent $5.18, saved $51.40, gained $13 in RRs! Spending:  A friend shopped for me $3.00, saved $3.00 CVS: spent $0.83, saved $25.22 Super1Foods: spent {Read More}

Tide for $1.94 at CVS 8/28 – 8/31

This post may contain affiliate links.

I’ve mentioned several times in my classes that I’m a Tide girl.  Our little family only uses 3 or 4 of the 32 load bottles in a year’s time and when I can get it for $2.50 I’m not going to worry about saving that little amount by using a different product.  I was just over at amit19 and noticed that Tide powder is included in the gas card deal for 8/28-9/3.  The deal looks like this: Buy 1 Dawn {Read More}

Playing the Target Game

I  mostly just look and appreciate how nice their things are.  Sometimes I get to buy.  When I get a $25 Target GC from family for Christmas I love seeing how far I can stretch those dollars on things I will enjoy.    Shopping the end caps for {Read More}
